The standard reference for Conder tokens is THE PROVINCIAL TOKEN COINAGE OF THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY by Dalton and Hamer, a new edition is readily available. The Seaby books on my 17th Century page are useful, and there is an excellent series of out of print but available books by R.C. Bell- start with COMMERCIAL COINS 1787-1804. There is a rich literature on the Conder tokens extending back to the 1700's , email me for more suggestions. |

Many fine dealers in this series advertise in the journal of the CONDER TOKEN COLLECTOR'S CLUB [CTCC]. The club has about 250 members and publishes an excellent quarterly journal with ads and articles. Membership is a must for anyone with a serious interest in the series- email me for information on joining. |
